How does your eye perceive light?
When light hits an object, it is reflected almost like a ball bouncing off a wall. Some of the reflected light goes through the cornea of your eye. The light travels through your pupil and passes through the lens in your eye and reflects the image upside-down on the back of your eyeball on the retina. The retina then sends messages to your brain which puts it together and enables you to see.
Rods and cones are cells in the eye that helps us see color.
